When choosing an arsenal of attachments for a skid steer loader, many owners typically start with a rock grapple bucket because of its superior versatility and efficiency. A rock grapple's ability to handle various material types makes it perfect for a broad application range, including agriculture, ranching, large-scale landscaping and construction. While a rock grapple bucket's primary function is removing and sifting materials from soil, it's also handy for transporting logs, stones and other larger debris.

Bucket

We designed the rock grapple bucket to hold material securely while holding up to job after job. The combination of structural steel materials and tubing reinforcement makes our rock grapple an investment that lasts. A universal mounting plate makes the rock grapple compatible with many popular makes, including Kubota, John Deere and Bobcat. You can also ask us about custom mounting options.

  • Grade 50 steel (3/8″ Tines)
  • 4″x 4″x 1/4″ top tubing
  • 3″x 3″x 1/4″ bottom tubing
  • 1/2″ serrated cut-edge
  • 2-7/8″ opening between tines
  • Contoured tines
  • Universal skid steer mount plate
  • (Call for other mounting options)

Grapples

With this attachment’s wide and powerful grapples, you can pick up anything from debris to material. The greasable pivot points allow for easier maintenance so you can keep getting use out of your rock grapple, while strong twin cylinders give you a firm grip that you can adjust per side to hold even the most challenging loads.

  • 48″ grapple opening
  • Twin 2500 psi cylinders
  • 1/2″ flat face couplers included

At Stinger Attachments, we go the extra mile in offering you a comprehensive selection of tools to tackle various job types. We furnish our rock grapple buckets in widths ranging from 48 to 88 inches, allowing you to fit your skid steer loader with the perfect tool for the job. The ½-inch thick serrated cutting edge provides quick and efficient rock digging while delivering an incredibly smooth finish when used in grading applications.

The skid loader rock bucket grapple attachment’s capacity to hold large amounts of material and its versatile sifting ability make it one of the most valuable tools for a skid steer. The rock grapple ensures speedy production for transporting materials, grading topsoil or cleaning up around your job site.

Popular applications include:

  • Clearing: When you need to clear land quickly and thoroughly from large rocks and other unwanted debris, rock grapples are the ideal tool.
  • Handling: Use the rock grapple to transport heavy materials like stone or wood around your work site without frequent offloading or dumping.
  • Grading: The ½-inch serrated cutting edge ensures a clean, smooth finish for topsoil grading.
  • Tilling: Our rock grapples work well as aerators or tillers when preparing your soil for planting.

FEATURES

This rock grapple attachment contains two primary components — a pair of grapples and a bucket. The grapples are powerful and durable enough to handle the heaviest debris while having the versatility to operate independently and handle smaller materials. They come with twin 2,500 PSI hydraulic cylinders and ½-inch flat face couplers to deliver the strength you need.

The bucket features a design made from high-grade structural steel and thick tubing reinforcement to handle the heaviest loads. The tightly spaced tines allow the bucket to hold large rocks in place while the device continues to sift.

Additional bucket specifications include:

  • 3/8-inch tines spaced 2 7/8 inches apart made from Grade 50 steel.
  • 4-inch by 4-inch by ¼-inch top tubing.
  • 3-inch by 3-inch x ¼-inch bottom tubing.
  • ½-inch serrated cutting edge.
